Description: Crabs will walk randomly, they move slowly when moving up and down, but there speed doubles when moving left and right.
Additional: These crabs are particularly annoying since they move quickly and unpredictably, and they do a surpising amount of damage for a crab. I have taken to calling them "fastcrabs", and yes you have to say it as one word.

Crow

Buzz blobs have a unique property where they will turn into talking cuckmen when sprinkled with magic powder. If you freeze the cuckman then hit it with a hammer it will turn back into a buzz blob.
Additional: There is a bug regarding buzz blobs ability to shock Link. If Link hits a buzz blob with the hammer and he happens to have swords 1-3 he will get shocked. If he hits a buzz blob with the hammer while he has the golden sword he will not get shocked. It's unclear whether the hitting them with the hammer was intended to always shock Link or never shock Link.

Description: Anti-Faeries will move along diagonals and bounce off walls. They are they only enemy in the game that does magic damage (as in, it takes away some of your magic power). If you use magic powder on them they will turn into normal faeries, this is the only way to defeat them.
Additional: The anti-faerie's initial movement depends on its starting X-coordinate. Even = up and right, odd = up and left. Also, while Link is flashing and invincible after being hit, he's still susceptible to MP damage from anti-faeries.

Eyegore

Health: 16 (Green), 8 (Red)
Damage: 1
Loot: There is a 50% chance to drop something. When an item drops 50% arrow x5, 25% arrow x10, 25% heart.
Location: Eastern palace, along with a couple other dungeons.
Description: They may appear to be statues at first but when you get close to them they will come to life and persue Link. They will chase Link for 2 seconds before closing their eye until Link gets close again. They cannot be damaged while their eye is closed. The red eyegores can only be damaged with arrows.
It may appear like the green eyegores have less health, but that is not the case. Green eyegores are instantly killed by arrows, this is a hardcoded check. Red eyegores take 4 damage from arrows, meaning it takes 2 shoots to kill them. The green eyegore's higher health is only for when you attack them with a sword (and since you can't hit red eyegores with a sword you can't compare.) This is a rare case of the stronger version of an enemy having less health (although it doesn't seem like it).
Additional: These enemies always scared me as a kid, and still sort of do to this day. I especially don't like the dark room where there's two of them.

Terrorpin

Health: 8
Damage: 1
Loot: There is a 50% change to drop something. When an item drops 62.5% blue rupee, 25% green rupee, 12.5% red rupee.
Location: Palace of Darkness
Description: They will constantly move towards Link at a constant speed. They cannot be damaged until you use the hammer near them, flipping them over.
Additional:

Helmsaur/Mini Helmasaur

Health: 4
Damage: 1
Loot: There is a 50% chance to drop something. When an item drops 25% heart, 25% red rupee, 12.5% faerie, 12.5% large magic, 12.5% bomb x8, 12.5% arrow x10.
Location: Several dark world dungeons, but noteably the Palace of Darkness.
Description: Helmsaurs will run at Link when they see him. The thick mask on their face means they cannot be damaged from the front, and Link will be knocked back slightly if he hits them there. He must hit them from the side or the back.
Additional:

Goriya (Mimic)

Health: 8
Damage: 1
Loot: There is a 50% chance to drop something. When an item drops 50% arrow x5, 25% arrow x10, 25% heart.
Location: Several dark world locations, but noteably the Palace of Darkness.
Description: Goriyas will usually attack in groups of three, with two green and one red. They will mimic Link's movement. The green goriyas will mimic it exactly, the red goriyas will mirror the movement (going left when you go right, going down when you go up), however, they can get caught up on walls. The red goriyas will shoot a fireball if you look directly at them. The green goriyas can be damaged with a sword but the red goriyas can only be damaged with arrows.
Additional: In the SNES version of the game there is a cave in the light world that contains goriya. Goriya are coded as the dark world version of eyegores. There was apparantly a bug where the cave was registered as being in the dark world (and thus having dark world enemies) when it is not. In the GBA version the enemies were changed to eyegores as originally intended.

Kyameron

Health: 1
Damage: 1
Loot: (See additional.)
Location: Swamp Palace.
Description: A kyameron will form for a spot in shallow water. It will travel quickly in a random diagonal, bouncing off walls. They will automatically dissipate after two bounces. They infinitely respawn from a single spot. They are quiet annoying to deal with, however, they cannot leave the shallow water.
Additional: If you hit a kyameron with your sword they will dissipate and respawn. They only way to kill the for good is to freeze them then smash them with the hammer. This means, even though kyamerons have a loot table, you will never get that loot table because it will always be replaced by the frozen enemy loot table. (I actually didn't know this until recently. I always assumed they could not be killed.)

Water Bug

Health: 4
Damage: 1
Loot: There is a 50% change to drop something. When an item drops 62.5% blue rupee, 25% green rupee, 12.5% red rupee.
Location: Swamp Palace.
Description: Water bugs will move along the surface of the water towards Link.
Additional: No one can seem to agree on the name of these enemies. Of my sources, I've seen "water tektite", "hoba", and "hover".

Pirogusu

Health: 2
Damage: 2
Loot: None.
Location: Swamp Palace.
Description: They will drop out of holes in the water and move quickly through shallow water. They will infinitely respawn out of the holes in the wall.
Additional: These enemies also sort of scare me (not as much as eyegores though), but I feel like this is a more reasonable fear, since most people are scared of something coming after them in water.

Gibdo

Health: 32
Damage: 2
Loot: There is a 50% change to drop something. When an item drops 50% small magic , 25% large magic, 12.5% blue rupee, 12.5% heart.
Location: Skull Woods.
Description: Gibdos will move slowly towards the player. They have the highest health of any normal enemy, but they are very weak to burn damage.
Additional:

Wallmaster

Health: 8
Damage: N/A
Loot: None.
Location: Skull Woods.
Description: Wallmasters do not do any damage but they will drop from the ceiling and grab Link, taking him back to the enterance of the dungeon. They can be recognized by a shadow that appears over you and a sound cue when they drop. Generally the best way to avoid them is to continuously be moving. You can also lure them out by standing still and moving out of the way at the last moment. Unlike in other game wallmasters infinitely respawn, so killing one will only give you bit more time before it drops again.
Additional: The wallmaster are found in the skull woods, a dungeon with multiple enterances. When the wallmaster grabs you it will take you to the enterance you most resently came in through.

Zazak

Health: 4 (Blue), 8 (Red)

Location: Blind's Hideout
Description: They will move in random directions, occasionally pausing for 0.25 to 0.5 seconds. The red zazaks will shoot a fireball if you past in front of them.
Additional:

Gibo

Health: 8
Damage: 1
Loot: None.
Location: Blind's Hideout.
Description: Gibos are strange floating enemies that have a central corporal body surrounded by a magical barrier. The gibo moves in three stages. First, the small corporal body moves. Only when the body stops moving does the barrier follow. The gibo will then sit for a moment before moving again. The barrier cannot be damaged and it protects the body when they are overlapping. The gibo can only be damaged by hitting the body when it is outside of the barrier. You can either wait until it moves on it's own or you can pull the body out with the hookshot.
Additional:

Freezor

Health: 24 (See description.)
Damage: 4
Loot: None.
Location: Ice Palace.
Description: Freezors appear to be statues in the wall of the dungeon but they will come to live and attack if you get too close. (Note that there are some statues in the dungeon that aren't freezors.) They will move towards the player. They move significantly slower going left and right then they do going up and down. They can only be damaged with fire based attacks, and will be kill in one hit from them.
Additional: These enemies also always scared me. I legit got jump scared when I first entered the ice palace. I'm still scared of them a little even now, just like with eyegores. I think I might just have a fear of statues that come to life and move towards you.

Pengator

Loot: There is a 50% change to drop something. When an item drops 50% small magic , 25% large magic, 12.5% blue rupee, 12.5% heart.
Location: Ice Palace.
Description: A combination of penguins and aligators. They are found in rooms with icy floors, typically in large numbers. They will slide across the floor and run towards Link, causing general chaos.
Additional: These enemies also always scared me. I legit got jump scared when I first entered the ice palace. I'm still scared of them a little even now, just like with eyegores. I think I might just have a fear of statues that come to life and move towards you.

Stalfos Knight

Health: 64 (See description).
Damage: 2
Loot: 75% bomb x1, 12.5% bomb x4, 12.5% bomb x8. There is a 100% change of them dropping something.
Location: Ice Palace.
Description: Stalfos knights will drop from the ceiling, typically in pairs. They will pause for 4 seconds before jumping four times and pausing again. If you hit them they will crumple into a pile of bones, after 4 seconds they will reform. You must place a bomb before they reform. The bomb will one hit kill them. They can be difficult to deal with if they get out of control, so it's best to hit them as soon as drop from the ceiling, before they start moving.
Additional: There is a bug where, because the damage class values are stored once per enemy type rather than once per enemy instance, all Stalfos Knights become vulnerable to bombs when you collapse one. And conversely, all become unbombable when one falls from the ceiling, or transitions from crumpled to upright.
